Wintering Well:
Bringing yourself Compassion, Understanding and Renewal


 

Winter can make us question ourselves as energy drops and motivation fades, but this doesn’t mean we’re failing—it means our brains and bodies are responding to the season. In nature, winter isn’t a mistake: trees rest, seeds lie unseen, and bears conserve energy to prepare for growth. This series invites us to treat ourselves with the same compassion, honouring rest as part of renewal.
